We serve unpretentious Italian food that respects the quality of our ingredients – a combination of the best italian DOP ingredients with the best local produce from our own garden.
From our popular thin-crust pizzas, to pasta and meat dishes, there is something for everyone.
We can cater to most dietary preferences, including gluten-free, and vegetarian options which are indicated on our menu.
We have homemade gluten-free pizza base and gluten-free spaghetti so most our pastas and pizzas can be adapted.
The new generations of the Cálem and Louro families continue to honor the families’ connection to Wine.
Whether it is through the centenary Cálem Port Wine or the more recent Quinta da Ferradosa (Douro), Quinta do Mouro (Alentejo) or Adega do Monte Branco (Alentejo), our wine menu reflects our pride in the family tradition.
This connection to the producion and the commitment to serving “farm-to-table” products allows us to offer our customers mostly small batch family wines with great quality-price ratio.
We also have a selection of Italian wines, such as Chianti Classico and Pinot Grigio.
We are committed to being a sustainable business.
Here are some examples of what we do:
In our dishes we use many vegetables and herbs from our garden that is located less than 1km from us and in which we use no harmful pesticides or fertilizers.
We also compost part of our food waste and all our coffee grounds and garden trimmings to use as natural fertilizer. And we donate leftover staff meals to Refood in Almancil.
The installation of solar panels has allowed us to be powered 30-50% with clean energy.
Tastes even better now, right?
